WhatsApp for the iPhone

One of the best applications for the Blackberry platform is the Blackberry Messenger Application. It allows Blackberry users to message each other using their device’s unique PIN number. The messages come and go quickly and no SMS messages are used in the process.

This sort of feature is sorely missed on the iPhone. That is until now.

WhatApp Messenger is a messaging client for the iPhone that allows iPhone users to communicate directly with each other. They key is only iPhone users can use the application.

Best of all the application supports push notifications so even though it’s closed you’ll still be alerted when one of your contacts sends a message. You can also set the app to notify you via push when one of your contact’s changes their status.

Each user can set a custom status message and assign it to themselves. Although I didn’t use this feature you also have the option of syncing your WhatsApp status to your Facebook status as well

Driver for the iPhone

The new Driver feels like an exact replica of the original, and that is a huge compliment. The joys of outrunning the cops down a busy road, pulling off handbrake turns around sharp corners, launching your car off ramps to fly over the heads of the police; it's all here. The cars handle like a dream, with a perfect mix of arcade and realism. While not always easy to keep under control, this makes it so much more rewarding when you pull off that perfect powerslide.

Cydia crashing

There have been reports that alot of iDevices have been having a problem with Cydia crashing.This is occurring because of a corrupt repository.

There is a way to fix this but I recommend just installing Rock from Blackra1n. Rock loads faster and looks more pleasing to the eye.

mBox With Push 3.0.1

This is the one we have been waiting for... mBox with Push.

Download from here

1.Delete current mBoxMail installed and check using winscp in the va/mobile/applications folder that it is deleted.

2. Download the file from any of the above mirrors.

3. Once downloaded, install the program but don't open it yet!

4. using WinScp, go into the var/mobile/applications folder, find a app that has been purchased/downloaded legally using itunes app store. copy the itunesmetadata.plist file from there into the mBox folder in var/mobile/applications.

5. Select this file and change permissions to 777.

6. Close winscp and Respring using SBSettings or Respring program from cydia.

7. After Respring, open mBoxMail and you should have a working version!

My Theme

This is a new theme i've been designing.
